Sudhakar: There is no need for the BJP to do politics while keeping the hijab thing
"There is no need for the BJP to do politics in keeping with the hijab issue," Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said in Chikkaballapur.
Siddaramaiah may have been accused of doing so without proper information. Some are trying to owl the BJP. Prime Minister Modi has already made it clear. Sub Ke Saath Sub Ke Vishwas, he said, has trusted everybody and built the sector for development.
The BJP's thinking is that all people of this country are equal, as Ambedkar asserted. Thus our party is not behind the hijab controversy. I have said before that we should not hurt anyone's mind.
There are rich and poor in schools. The rich can put up with anything. But this is no chance. It is important that we are all equal. The text book is somehow the same. Uniforms should be the same as how uniforms are. It is possible to achieve equality. "My personal opinion is that all religions should accept this, biased and secular," he said.
In the case of Hijab, I appeal to the people of the state to appeal to the students. "Everyone has to abide by the court's decision," he said.
